Hi,
I'm trying to figure out what makes so much of a difference between the 55-250 and the 70-300 lenses (both with IS). The 55-250 is roughly $300 where the 70-300 is $650. Why is it so much more expense for 50 more mm if they both have IS, and both are f/4.0-5.6 ? I'm looking for a wildlife lens and am trying to figure out if I need to spend the extra $350.
