OK, im about fed up with this camera (and user), but for the life of me, i cannot get any pictures that are 'right'. Most of my problem stems from use of flash in the house, but ALL of my pictures ALWAYS need levels adjustment. No matter what i do, i cannot get any contrast on the stupid things. Something is not right, and im not sure what im doing wrong.
Whats the deal?? Ive got pictures of another guy using a D40 that costs half what my D70s did, and the pics alwas look good, even on AUTOMATIC!!!!!!
Please help me.
Here are some examples. The first is what i took. The second is what i want it to look like out of the camera. Just regular old snapshots.

Double check you settings in the D70s. I used to own one and sometimes the settings were set to something like portrait under one of the menus. Check to ensure that it is set to normal or to a higher contrast. I can't remember under what menu it is located in, but do remember the seeing it on the camera. |
