Which lens should i buy for my Nikon D80??

I have a Nikon D80 and i'm looking for lens.
I'm a newbie in photography and i'm entering now in this big world of lenses which is getting me even more confuses in which lens to buy. So i'm looking for some help so that i don't buy nothing i'll regret in the future.

So there goes some information:
The purpose: shows, concerts with low light;

I've seen some Nikon lens and sigma, which are less expensive. Of course the quality isn't the same, but are the good enough? I don't want to buy the best in the market or nothing like that. I'm just beginning, so i want some good alternatives.

Can anyone help me in this?
