Hi Guys,

I need some advice in getting a flash diffuser. I need the diffuser for taking pictures for taking wedding & general photography. I know that there are a lot of brands out there that perform quite well, brands like Gary Fong, Stofen etc.
Can you guys give me some input on which brand I should get. I will just buy 1 diffuser for my general purpose. I don't really like carrying a lot of stuff in my bag.

Just now I look at the Gary Fong's website and saw that the result was great with using only the light sphere and the whale tail. I also checked at Ebay and saw the same item with the cheaper pricing. I wonder if they are the same?

I hope all experts out there will want to help me and share their experience with flash diffuser... I am just afraid to make the wrong decision.

Thanks in advance

Mario

For your information I am using 580EX, with 1Ds mark2, 24-70 f/2.8

I have the Lightsphere and think it's a great product. It produces very nice lighting. The down side is that it's much bigger than the stofen and looks a little bizarre, but like I said, it works very well.

Don't know about the ebay one.

Thanks ryguy 76,

The lightsphere got a five star rating in some photography magazine, I think it is a great products. I am actually interested in the Whale tail, but it cost around $100
