Corrupted Sony RAW Files

Hello all -

I would like some advice restoring RAW files on my computer. I have three years of RAW files taken with a Sony F828 camera. Unfortunately, some of the RAW files have been corrupted and are unreadable. Some are my favorite photos which I would like to restore to make quality prints. The same files are also unreadable on my backup external hard drive.

It seems strange that only a portion of my RAW files are unreadable. Each corrupted file shows there is ample data available but the type of file is "File".

I have researched the Internet for file recovery but would like some advice on restoring corrupt RAW files. There appear to be many options but I would like advice on the best option available. I understand there is a chance they may not be restorable.
