I have a trip planned to the US in december and was planning to pick up a new canon digital slr while there. Does anyone know what value of goods you can bring into the UK before import duty kicks in, and at what rate any duties or taxes are charged at.
Thanks in advance for any help. |

Personal allowance is £145. Rates of duty vary depending on the type of goods. You need to check the Revenue & Customs website for details. |
