Hi All

I have a Nikon D50 and id like to get into macro photography. At the minute i cant afford a macro lens so im wondering about getting hold of some macro extension tubes.

Is it worth it ? Are they any good ?

Regards

Roger

Probably the best value for money solution going, better than front diopter lenses.
Results will really depend on how your current lens behaves with the tubes.

They should work reasonably well, you will have fun finding out where the best results are obtained. I suggest you start with the zooms set midway.
Lighting is going to be interesting, were you thinking of flash or natural light ?

Not really thought about it. I will probably predominantly use natural light though as i can see my self getting a lot of use from this sort of set up in the garden - flowers, insects etc.
