I just purchased the ball head that I want, but now I can't seem to find the tripod that I want, the 055 Pro, which is listed in Manfrotto's catalog. Does anyone know where to acquire this tripod, or know of something that would be equivalent to it in price and quality?
Thanks |

Thanks for the reply. I found something that might have suggested that the Manfrotto 055 is the same as the Bogen 3021. The 055PROB is on page 14 of their 06/07 catalog.
Now that I've got that figured out, is the 055ProB Manfrotto/ 3021 Bogen tripod a good tripod? I'm willing to spend up to about $250 US on the legs alone. I have a D70 and a 70-200mm/f4 lens. I definitely plan on upgrading lenses and bodies in the future when I feel like I know more about what I'm doing and can therefore justify it, so will the 055 be able to hack it? |
