My girlfriend has started making jewellery and I want to get some really good shots of her bracelets, necklaces, etc. I've found it quite difficult in terms of lighting, which surface to put the jewellery on or mounts?
Has anyone done something similar that can give me some advice? |

Here is a awesome site that has plenty of great tips on product photography, and jewelry: www.tabletopstudio.com
Many fantastic pro tips found throughout the site. They may want to sell you some stuff, (no hard sell though) but the info is great, I mean really great, and they show you ways to get wonderful results without buying their stuff.
You can construct anything you would need initially, with but a few dollars. Don't even need flash equipment.
