Did this come out today? I was looking for a 580 EX and I stumbled upon this. Do you think it would be worth waiting for the 580 EX II? Do you think it would be more expensive than the $400 that the 580 EX is now? |

I would want the EX II just for the PC socket which would enable me to use it as an accessory light with a bunch of older manual film cameras. If you aren't planning to take it out of the hotshoe it doesn't sound like there's much difference and you may as well just get the mark I. |
