ok- not really editing but here goes. I use PS CS2. Doe anyone know how i can copy the EXIF data for inclusion in posting here. At the moment i manually type in the photo specs (if i remember). There has to be a quicker way...

I use photobucket.com and they have and exif bottom that will display them...i just copy and paste the info when posting here.

If you use Firefox as your browser, you can get a plugin that will display EXIF info when you right click on an image. There is a "Copy " button that will then let you paste the EXIF.

I use photobucket too but i can't find this feature. Can you give me any pointers to how i can see it?

For that feature to work...the exif is going to have to be attatched to the pic. If your using photoshops "save for the web", the exif is thrown out, you need to use "save as" and specify jpg, and the compression ratio, using that option in PS your exif is saved with the jpg.

I just got the firefox plugin after reading this post. I like the fact now i can look at images and when people talk about DOF or this setting or that setting, now i can see what the settings are, and mess with them on my camera..

these pluins are great! the one ikd supplied has versiojns for explorer and firefox. Thanks all once again...no longer do i have to save someone's pic to my harddrive to look at the specs!
