Shutter life on a D70 is probably at about 50 to 70K.
D100 & D200 where about 100 - 125K
D2X/D2H above 200K.
However, it depends on how you use/abuse the camera. If you shoot 100K photos in 3 months, it will likely fail on a D70. It's simply not built for that duty cycle. A D100 is a bit higher.
I currently am at about 12K in just over 6 months of use. |

I took over 30K with the D70 this year and it exhibits absolutely no problems whatsoever
D2X is about to hit 17K (darn high speed crop was sure fun to play with) since its purchase this past summer so about 6 mos time.
Also shot at least 40 rolls of 36 exp 35mm on the N75, another 12 rolls of 12-36exp B&W on the FT2, and 20 rolls or so through the RB67. It would be nice to know how many acuations the last two cameras have made, just due to their age. |

Your RB67 could probably take a million and keep going. |

Well, the shutter is actually in the lenses (neat little quirk) so I should have stated the 90mm lens on the RB67. But your right Paul they are tanks. |
