I just bought a Nikon N80 and I would like to know what steps should I take to become certified professional. |

erm, talk about a vague question...
What kind of photographer?!
Do you want to be freelance and hired to shoot weddings? Do you want to set up your own business for family portraits? Do you want to become a sports photographer and shoot for a magazine? Do you want to be a police photographer and shoot crime scenes? Do you want to shoot for a newspaper?
Becoming a professional photographer is a lot more than just getting yourself a camera and registering as a professional!
Wake up to the real world - this business is tough competition!
Tell me you at least know how to take photographs? Please tell me you are experienced with photography and not just expecting to jump right in without even knowing how to use your new N80? |

Hmm, from that list, police photographer shooting crime scenes sounds the most interesting, never really thought about that before.
I'd like to take photos for postcards, but I imagine everything's been photographed to death for that already.
As for becoming pro, I guess being able to consistantly take good photos is a good start. |
