I have a Fujifilm F31fd which I'm over the moon with. Is there a similar camera in the Sony line?

Sony will have a camera which is targeted at the same market, as will Pentax, Canon, Nikon and the rest.

This doesn't mean they are the same, each company will have a slightly different idea of what features are important and also a different portfolio of technologies available to them.

I haven't looked thoroughly into the current crop of digi-compacts because I am still very pleased with my Panasonic Lumix, but from what I've seen if I were to buy one now then the Fuji F31 would be my first choice.

Pentax K10D and *istDL2 with an assortment of Pentax, Tamron and Zeiss glassware.
