Hi all, was wondering if anyone could tell me how I open up a .raf file in Photoshop.
I have just purchased a Fujifilm S3 Pro and have started to shoot in raw mode. However when I download my files onto the computer, they come up with a file extension '.raf'. Does anyone know how I can convert this to an extension that I can open in photoshop.
Many thanks

The .raf file extension would indicate that the image is in FUJI RAW format. What version of Photoshop are you running? Current versions like CS and CS2 will support Fuji RAW as long as you have the proper plug-ins and updates. Here's a link for you:

If you do not have one of these versions of PS then you will need to either convert your files with the software that was provided with the S3 or shoot in a mode other than RAW.
I hope that helps!

Thank you for your reply. After I posted this message I did some extension research on the web and found the plugin on the adobe website. I am running PS CS.
Up until now I have only been shooting in JPEG, but since seeing the opportunity I have to post-process with RAW, I will only shoot RAW from now on.
I appreciate you taking the time to help me with this matter.
