I'm trying to pick up a SC-17 cable on eBay to pair my Nikon D50 with my SB-600. What I'm concerned about reading the listings is that some SC-17 cables don't have the hole for the locking pin in the SB-600. Is any of this true. I know I've definitely seen some with the hole, so should I be concerned that some don't have it?
Also, are they all the same size, I see lots of discrepancies when it comes to how far they can extend. Some people say 3 feet, some people say 9 feet!
