Such posts will be pretty meaningless. I have here an Olympus D-510 and a Nikon D200. ISO 400 will look WILDLY different between them.

I doubt that 99% of people would be able to tell the difference between ISO 100 and ISO 400 from a D200 or 30D.

What are you looking for specifically?

i was mainly just looking to see how much noise there was at say iso 400/800 etc in your guys' cameras. I know what it looks like in my S3 and i just wanted to see how much better it looked on an SLR. I was also hoping to judge (for myself) what iso i could use if i got a nice camera and still be satisfied.

Check out dpreview.com.

http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sidebyside.asp

There is pretty much any camera you can think of on there, and you are able to compare them side by side.
All the reviews grade noise performance and have sample shots with original "out of camera" files available to download so you can judge for yourself.

95whtgst,

In your last post about high ISO I gave you the exact link to compare your S3 with a Nikon D80 (DSLR). Did you go to this link and read the comparisons? In these comparisons there are links to some sample picutures at varying ISO speeds:
