A re-intro...

I forgot I had an account here until I went to register and it said my email and my username had already been registered. Im not sure when I last posted but since whenever that was I have since purchased a nice Sony DSC H7 - not a full DSLR but it allows me more control than a flimsy point and shoot but doesnt give me all the confusion that a full on DSLR probably would.

At first I was shooting mostly in the presets but now I have begun to tinker with the controls in the manual mode and Im starting to surprise myself.

For instance the other day I went to shoot some fall colors but I simply wasnt getting the same bright colors in the photos that I was seeing with my eyes so I kept tinkering with it until I got rich vibrant colors. Im not sure what the exact settings were but never the less the photos improved alot although I almost ran out of battery power trying to get it.

So sorry to bore your heads off with nonsense newbie rambling and thought I would just re-introduce myself as Dixie v2.0 with a better camera this time around. :D
