Are you seeing the flash fire? Are you outside or inside? If you are seeing the flash, then I am not sure. If not, then the camera is not firing the flash it thinks you don't need it. If you want the flash to fire all the time, then you need to turn the flash on for fill. Not auto. You decide. Also, I usually have my flash to slow1. Not sure if this helps. Your ISO should be fine. Your post had me more than a little confused for a time, until I figured you meant to reply to gmarques - Flash problem with C5060 WZ - question and started a new thread instead.
