When I first noticed the street performer, I knew that I wanted a silhouette. I had to sit on the ground in order to obtain an exposure off the sky and also not to include the spectators in the shot as they would be a distraction. Nothing was done in Photoshop. I later gave an A4 print to the tightrope walker and he was delighted with it and requested my permission to place it on his website to which I agreed.
Sydney, Australia, where I live, has got to be one of the most photogenic cities on this planet and I am a very lucky person to live here.
